Forgot to post...reactions to princess and the...
Me: Daddy let's watch Princess and the Frog!
Dad: Okay....
-movie starts-
Dad: She's black? They had a black girl kiss the frog? That isn't racist! None of the white princesses kissed a frog.
-about 5 minutes later-
Me: When is the time period?
Dad: Well looking at that car and the dress and her dad was in the war...probably the 20s or 30s.....And in the 20s, that black guy would be hanged for flirting with the white girls.
-movie ends-
Me: So what did you think?
Dad: Tangled was MUCH better.

Why is it that when I’m having a bad day so are you? The couple times I have been really down it seems like you have your own problems so I don’t want to lay all of mine down on you too?
